| Galuzzo is the name of the hill where, on a little knoll facing Lake Garda, the Trevisani's Farm is located; it is in this beautiful environment that the brothers Gian Pietro and Mauro raise a mix of local and international varieties making a limited production (some 5.000 cases a year of total production) of really signature wines. More in details the Trevisani’s produce a total of six different quality wines and two of those (Benacus and Due Querce) are made only during the best vintages. In their job the Trevisani brothers are partially helped by the very good position of their vineyards but these excellent results are mostly due thank to their passion and dedication. The vinification is made separately for each vineyard. Each wine undergoes a particular treatment which allows itself to express its main uniqueness and characteristics. The use of oak for the aging is done with careful in order to do not change the real character of the wine which must always be recognizable, elegant and not covered by wood tannins. A lot of careful is also put in the use of stainless steel as well as in the bottle refining. |
