A new bright star on the Friuli region

The red Naos 2004 of the winery Pitars has been awarded with the highest honour of the Guide of the Friuli Wine Guide, that gives to the red blend three stars and the excellence prize. The Naos 2004 is the first Refosco grape blend to enter in the top list of the Friulian wines.

Best Italian Wines 2009

Luca Maroni’s guide book includes the Pitars winery among the best Italian producers. Ten are the wines of the Pittaro family rated more than 80 points. Between them the indigenous Friulano and Refosco DOC.

Wine Enthusiast 2008

The issue of August dedicates a special to the whites from Friuli Region, assigning to Pitars winery’s 2007 Pinot Grigio one of the highest scores. Also the less famous Friulano has been recognized one of the best summer wines.
